VMS Hire Nationwide was delighted to support the Frank Rafferty and Sean McCaffery Galway Summer Rally in 2022 — one of the highlights of the Irish rally calendar and a fantastic showcase for motorsport in our home county. Our solar-powered VMS signs were deployed across the special stages and access routes to direct spectators safely, guide competing crews and keep all road users informed throughout what was a superb day of Irish rallying.
The Galway Summer Rally presented the kind of traffic and crowd management challenge that our signs are built for — multiple stages spread across the county road network, large numbers of enthusiastic spectators arriving from all directions and fast-changing conditions as the event progressed through the day. Being based in Ballinasloe, we know the Galway road network well, and it was a pleasure to put that local knowledge to work in support of such a well-organised event right on our doorstep.
